About

Scenery Pictures | Wildlife PhotosWelcome to my site, “Through My Lens”.  My name is Garry Richer and I’m a retired gold miner. The last few years I’ve been able to enjoy one of my passions “photography”.  I’ve been married 38 years and have two sons and two granddaughters.  I live in Northern Ontario in a remote little cottage town known as Kenogami.

With this blog I will be sharing some of my photographs that I have and will be taking.

Once or twice a week I will post a new wildlife or scenery photo to this site.  I am not a professional photographer but will show you images I have captured through my lens.   I’ll be using a Nikon Coolpix P500 with a 36X zoom lens.

I would like to thank Virtual Alchemy for creating and giving me sound advice on the design of this website.  He went above and beyond what was anticipated.  Check his website out at www.virtualalchemy.ca

Please feel free to roam the site and even purchase one or two that catches your eye.  As well, make sure you check back often as new photos will be added on a regular basis.

I’ll leave you with a quote I read from an anonymous person that I thought was amusing,

“The quickest way to make money at photography is to sell your camera”
